The free dictations you will hear in the following sections are NOT dictations used as part of the SimplySteno program. Although these dictations are fine, the SimplySteno dictations are of professional quality. The bulk of these dictations are NOT timed. They were recorded more for word simplicity rather than speed. So some may be at 60-80 wpm, while others may be at 160-180. They are not labeled as such, so just enjoy them as you're able. Click on a category below to access the dictations. Enjoy!
StenoWatchdog was created in September of 2007 by Marc Greenberg, CRI, as a way for the court reporting community to give feedback on the products and services they use. In 2015, Marc decided to relaunch the website with a cleaner, more efficient look. All previous ratings and reviews have been erased – clean start for everyone!
